Design – The Music Home free Flash templates infuse great design concepts. One may think that the template is all brown and red resembling cherries and apples, but on close-up you would see that the header seem elevated and the main page is not just a folder-looking object stuck on a webpage but a raised brown plate with minute intricate designs. The shadow effect raises the image and gives a three dimensional look.
Navigation – The web page has great navigational tools. The navigational menu on the header is clearly seen and the page names are clearly separated by light reddish-brown lines as if resembling a red bamboo. There are five buttons to choose from namely Home, About, Portfolio, News, and Contacts. Thus, if someone would wish to engage the services of the person or company represented by the website, all he needs to do is click on the Contacts option. If someone wants to know more about the website master or the website owner, all he has to do is click on the About option.
Color Scheme – A website’s Color scheme makes use of two contrasting colors that look appealing together. The designer decided to use brown and red as the two primary colors. Well, I think that the color difference clearly distinguishes the header from the body and the logo from the image. The design also applies light-on-dark background color scheme or the use of light-colored texts on dark background. These can be seen on the header and the page titles. In the sample template shown, the circular logo’s text is white as against a dark background. The color schemes of the texts as against the background clarify the message and point to the internet visitor the important details.
Text – There are many fonts used for the header, page title and the contents. Boredom is removed from the internet viewer because of the use of many font styles.
Image – The image chosen as a sample clearly matches the template design and color scheme. The image looks as if it is raised from the website because of the excellent border colors and shadow effects creating a more three-dimensional look.
Gallery – Nine pictures are presented in a square (three pictures by three pictures). The design effect makes the presentation symmetrical and more professional. When the internet viewer hovers over the cursor on the image, he can clearly see which picture he is going to browse or check. A translucent blanket with white lines on the periphery indicates the image chosen and it is up to the visitor whether he is going to open it and see the bigger picture.
